Product platform
OSI, the product platform of Onion Infosec. Onion Super Intelligence.
OSI is the product platform of Onion Infosec: purpose-built security products that share one intelligence layer. Together they are designed to help an organization protect what it runs, govern how it is secured, and discover the risks that new technology brings, before those risks become incidents. Every current product is in development.
01The platform
Protect. Govern. Discover.
Each OSI product is built around one security outcome and shares one intelligence layer. The words are the current portfolio; the platform is designed to carry more.
OSI is an intelligent product platform that brings together purpose-built security capabilities under one architecture. Each OSI product is designed around a specific security outcome while sharing a common intelligence layer, and the portfolio is designed to grow as new outcomes call for new products.
The current products: AEGIS focuses on protection, through extended detection and response across endpoint, identity, cloud and network environments. JANUS focuses on governance, through risk, controls, evidence and compliance. ARGUS focuses on discovery, through visibility into AI applications, usage, shadow AI and emerging technology risk.
They share one design principle. Each takes what an organization already has, such as its telemetry, its control library or its application estate, and turns it into a continuous view that a security team can act on. None asks an organization to replace what it runs.
01
One intelligence layer
Every OSI product is built on the same intelligence layer, so what one product understands about an organization is designed to be available to the others.
02
One outcome per product
Each product is built around a single security outcome, protect, govern or discover, and is named for it. Nothing is a bundle.
03
Built on what you already run
Each product starts from what an organization already has, its telemetry, its control library, its application estate, and turns it into a continuous view. None asks for replacement.
04
A portfolio that grows
New security outcomes call for new products. The platform is designed to take them without changing what is already in place.
OSI, Onion Super Intelligence, is the product platform of Onion Infosec. Beneath it sit its current products: AEGIS, which protects, an XDR product; JANUS, which governs, a GRC product; and ARGUS, which discovers, an AI discovery product. Further products are added beneath the platform as the portfolio grows.

03Status
What our status labels mean.
Every product carries one of three labels. We change a label only when the facts change.
- Available
- Commercially available and supported. The product can be bought and deployed, and Onion Infosec supports it in production. No OSI product has this status today.
- In development
- Being designed and built. The product is not available to buy or deploy, and no release date is given. Its page describes design intent. Design-partner conversations are open.
- Research
- An experiment in Security Labs that tests whether an idea works. It carries no product commitment and may never ship.
04Origin
Industry experts and young minds, building together.
Each product starts from a problem that security teams meet in routine work: correlation done by hand across consoles, compliance evidence rebuilt for every audit, AI adopted faster than anyone can inventory it.
Products and services each have their own specialists. Services are delivered by experts in their field. Products are engineered by a product team that pairs experienced industry practitioners with young engineers. The two sides stay connected: service teams bring real problems and test early builds, and Security Labs supplies the research.
Every product carries a status label with a fixed meaning. Every current OSI product is in development, and its page describes design intent. Organizations that need the outcome now can get it through the related service.
Field insight
Our service specialists surface a problem that keeps recurring in real work.
Security Labs
Researchers study the problem and prove a method or prototype.
Product engineering
The product team, experts and young engineers together, builds it properly.
Validation
Service teams test early builds in real conditions and feed back what to change.
- Experts and young minds
- Each product is led by specialists in its domain and built with young engineers who bring current tools and fresh thinking. A feature has to make sense to someone who would use it during an investigation, an audit or a review of AI use.
- Precise status
- A product is labeled Available only when it can be bought and is supported. Until then its page says In development or Research, and describes intent instead of shipped capability.
- Works with what is already in place
- The designs assume mixed vendors, hybrid infrastructure and existing tools. The goal is to consume and make sense of what an organization already runs, not to force replacement.
- Decisions stay with people
- Automation gathers, documents and proposes. It executes only what has been approved in advance, and every automated step leaves an audit trail. Judgment and accountability remain human.
